From Our point of view Massage Oils make excellent sense because to buy each of the individual oils to mix their own is expensive and time consuming.
These Massage Oils are blended in Grape Seed Oil. You can even add a few drops to the bath.
Clear Skin Massage Oil is made with worlds known quality Tea Tree, Geranium and Grapefruit Essential Oils and Pure Grapeseed Oil.
Massage oil is used to keep the skin supple and prevent friction during a massage. The most important characteristic is the viscosity; the oil must be easy to distribute but must not absorb too quickly. In addition, it cares for the skin and adds aromatherapy.
The most important properties of a good massage oil are:
- Optimal roughness: It reduces friction on the skin, allowing the masseur to move smoothly and muscles to be massaged effectively without irritation.
- Not too fast absorption: Unlike regular body lotion or skin oil, massage oil absorbs slowly. The skin must remain oily for a long time to ensure ‘gliding’.
- Skin-friendly and non-sticky: Quality oils feel comfortable, do not stick and do not close pores.
- Aromatherapy: Many massage oils consist of a base oil enriched with essential oils. The smell affects the experience; Lavender, for example, has a relaxing effect, while peppermint is invigorating and cooling.
Depending on the type of massage and the skin type, different base oils are used, such as:
- Almond oil: Very popular, rich in vitamins and suitable for most skin types.
- Jojoba oil: Absorbs just a little faster and is ideal for sensitive or oily skin.
- Grapeseed oil: A light, odorless oil that is ideal for people with nut allergies.

Apply a little amount of heated oil to dry skin with long, gliding strokes to warm the muscles, then gradually reduce the pressure. To avoid irritating skin, always dilute concentrated essential oils with a neutral carrier oil.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Prepare the Area: Since massage oils can make the body feel colder, warm the space to keep the individual comfortable. To prevent oil spills on surfaces, lay down towels.
- Warm the Oil: Avoid using cold oil on exposed skin. To warm it, pump or pour a quarter-sized amount of oil into your palms and rub them together rapidly for five to ten seconds. Types of Massages and Their Advantages
- It is crucial to take into account both the sensory qualities and health advantages of a massage oil. The term "carrier oils" refers to a variety of oils used in massage therapy that are used to dilute and transport essential oils into the skin. In addition to facilitating a massage therapist's hands moving smoothly over your skin, common carrier oils like coconut or sweet almond oil also moisturise and nourish your skin.
- Every oil has distinct advantages and is selected for various purposes. For instance, jojoba oil is a great choice for most skin types because its makeup closely mirrors the natural oils found in the skin. It is less prone to irritate your skin and is easily absorbed, so it will not leave a greasy residue. On the other hand, when properly diluted, essential oils like peppermint or lavender can enhance the massage's therapeutic effects by stimulating the senses or encouraging relaxation.

- Spread Evenly: To distribute the oil evenly and smoothly, begin with long, sweeping strokes (known as effleurage) across the back, shoulders, or legs.
- Modify Pressure: To target deeper tension, gradually switch from broad strokes to kneading motions with your thumbs or knuckles. To make sure the pressure is comfortable, always ask for feedback.
- Steer clear of sensitive areas, such as the face, throat, and genitalia, and concentrate on major muscle groups.
